Meet the Staff
For more than 30 years Joanne Rose-Johnson has worked in education with an emphasis in school management, operations and compliance. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing public relations strategies, operating programs funded through local, state and federal sources, and oversight of institutional compliance with state and national standards. She has been Vice President of Community and Governmental Affairs of a large corporation that owned as many as 17 schools.
In 2000, Joanne established Educational Advisors with the mission of providing independent support, guidance and solutions to educational entities in all matters of compliance, accreditation and regulatory. Joanne has worked with start-up organizations, single-campus and multi-campus schools, distance learning schools, privately owned and publicly traded institutions.
In addition to her many years in the vocational education field, Joanne has also been the recipient of numerous awards in recognition of her impact on disabled individuals, public assistance recipients and ex-offenders through the presentation of professional development seminars. She has served as a gubernatorial appointee under two California governors, served as a regional panelist for 4 years for the White House Fellowship Program, and has served on evaluation review teams for the Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools (ABHES) and the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET). For several years, Joanne also participated on the ABHES Annual Report Committee and Preliminary Review Committee; she is a past member of the Accreditation Committee of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS).

Executive Vice President
Kim Rust has more than 20 years’ experience in the private postsecondary sector.
She has worked in administration and compliance at both the school and corporate level.
Her experience includes research, interpretation and dissemination of laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
Kim provides evaluation and recommendations based on review of current practices and guidance on processes and documentation.
She has worked with various accrediting agencies and numerous state governing bodies on obtaining approvals, initial / renewal accreditation and substantive changes.
Kim has sat on State and Accreditation committees.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Fresno.
Accreditation & Compliance Manager
Anjean McCole has over 15 years' experience in developing, motivating and leading teams at the school and corporate levels in areas of admission, campus management and operations, as well as accreditation and compliance of multiple institutions. She has institutional and programmatic experience with national accrediting agencies, multiple state regulatory agencies, Veterans affairs - and has served as an ABHES Team Leader Evaluator since 2009.
Anjean has opened two start-up campus locations from facility project management through obtaining regulatory approvals and institutional maintenance of operations. She was responsible for securing and maintaining federal, state, accreditation and regulatory compliance, while also providing leadership, support and oversight of all institutional departments.
Anjean received a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Education and Health Promotion from Central Michigan University and joined EA in January 2017.
Chris Del Santo
Higher Education Risk and Compliance
With 17 years of experience in Higher Education regulatory affairs and compliance, Chris Del Santo joins Educational Advisors in 2019.
His most recent role was as Vice President of Risk and Compliance with oversight and direct support of State Licensing, Accreditation, Compliance Monitoring, and Compliance Reporting for 110 education institutions offering academic programs in creative & applied arts, behavioral sciences, education, health sciences, and business; culminating in the award of associate's through doctoral degrees as well as non-degree programs.
Chris has a solid background in process development and assessment with a focus on company mission, business goals, market/competitive conditions, and client-centric solutions.
He has helped schools develop university-wide catalog process with trafficking schedules; compliance review and monitoring programs for marketing, social media, and admissions activity at both the campus level and company-wide.
Director of Events Planning
Sanaz Kiesbye joined Educational Advisors in 2009.
As Director of Events Planning, she directs and oversees the planning of conferences, workshops, webinars, and special events for a statewide educational association.
Sanaz also handles the email marketing and graphic design for the association’s events.
Prior to joining EA, Sanaz held project management positions in the automotive engineering, medical device software, and e-commerce industries.
When she’s not planning and organizing, Sanaz loves to draw and paint, read all kinds of books, walk her dogs, and go on long runs with her husband.
Sanaz received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Buffalo, where she also attended the fine arts program.
