Joanne Johnson

Chief Executive Officer

For more than 30 years Joanne Rose-Johnson has worked in education with an emphasis in school management, operations, and compliance. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing public relations strategies, operating programs funded through local, state and federal sources, and oversight of institutional compliance with state and national standards. She has been Vice President of Community and Governmental Affairs of a large corporation that owned as many as 17 schools.

In 2000, Joanne established Educational Advisors with the mission of providing independent support, guidance and solutions to educational entities in all matters of compliance, accreditation and regulatory. Joanne has worked with start-up organizations, single-campus and multi-campus schools, distance learning schools, privately owned and publicly traded institutions.

In addition to her many years in the vocational education field, Joanne has also been the recipient of numerous awards in recognition of her impact on disabled individuals, public assistance recipients and ex-offenders through the presentation of professional development seminars. She has served as a gubernatorial appointee under two California governors, served as a regional panelist for 4 years for the White House Fellowship Program, and has served on evaluation review teams for the Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools (ABHES) and the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET). For several years, Joanne also participated on the ABHES Annual Report Committee and Preliminary Review Committee; she is a past member of the Accreditation Committee of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS).

Kim Rust

President

Kim Rust is the President of Educational Advisors Inc. Kim has more than 25 years’ experience in the private postsecondary sector at schools, the corporate level, and as a key member of EAI management team since 2008. She supports the Educational Advisors team while still directly partnering with clients. Educational Advisors clients are provided guidance, tools, and recommendations regarding state and accreditation compliance areas. Kim works closely with sector Allied Members to provide resources and specialized support to Educational Advisors clients. Kim has taken a lead role on Allied Member activities, such as securing sponsorships and developing activities to introduce Allied Members to schools. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Fresno.


Chris Del Santo

Project Director

Chris Del Santo has more than 20 years of experience in the private postsecondary sector. He has worked in marketing and regulatory compliance at the corporate level. His regulatory experience includes marketing compliance, state authorization, operational compliance audits, process development and assessment, and workflow management.

As Project Director, Chris provides project management of state authorization multi-state projects while remaining hands-on with applications, renewals, and responses. Chris also provides assistance with accreditation projects and conducts reviews of marketing and admissions material based on current best practices and all applicable regulatory criteria. His skill set also includes assessment and documentation of current-state operational processes and recommendations for future-state implementation.

Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design Management from DePaul University, Chicago.


Chloe Lorenz

Accreditation and Compliance Coordinator

Chloe Lorenz has worked in the private postsecondary sector for more than 8 years. Entering the education industry as an elementary school teacher, Chloe made the change to private postsecondary in 2014. Chloe began working in student services and administration, and quickly expanded her role to include content development, instructor management, school operations, and state regulatory compliance. Chloe oversaw program development and compliance in the skilled trades, healthcare, and real estate industries.

Chloe attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative and French Literature. Chloe prides herself on astute analytical, writing, and language skills. She provides review and recommendations for both state licensing and accreditation applications.
