2020 CAPPS Memorial Scholarships Fundraisers

With the unusual 2020 year CAPPS has had to adjust the activities that provides funds for student scholarships. Typically we would have several different events that take place at the on-site conference, such as, the auction, 50/50, donations from on-site poker game, golf, walks, and trips to visit local attractions.

~MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS~

A number of years ago, the CAPPS Board of Directors created a 501c3 non-profit called the California Foundation for Private and Postsecondary Schools. We then created Memorial Scholarships in the name of important and beloved members of the Association who have passed on.  Since then the Foundation has raised tens for thousands of dollars from generous contributors. 100% of these tax-deductible contributions (for those of you thinking about end of year tax planning) go to deserving students enrolled in CAPPS Member Schools. Annual scholarships granted in memory of:

• Bonnie Manley Memorial Scholarship

• Marsha Fuerst Memorial Scholarship

• Mike Mikhail Memorial Scholarship

• Norma Ford Memorial Scholarship

• Sue Fleming Memorial Scholarship
