CECU ADDS STRENGTH TO ITS GOVERNMENT RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS TEAMS

Arlington, VA — Career Education Colleges and Universities, the national trade association representing the proprietary sector of higher education, has announced the addition of two new team members.

Joanne Zurcher is CECU’s new Vice President of Government Relations, leading the association’s outreach to Democratic policymakers. She previously worked at the Dutko Grayling lobbying firm and the National Environmental Health Association. She is a veteran of the Obama Administration and a former senior staffer for former U.S. Reps. Rob Andrews (D-NJ) and Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY).

Devin Miller is CECU’s new Director of Communications, leading the association’s media relations, membership communications, and social media portfolio. He comes to CECU from the National Venture Capital Association, where he handled NVCA’s media and digital strategy. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
