CHEA 2021 Standards and Recognition: Call for Comment

The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the Committee on Recognition (Committee) reviewed the 2021 CHEA Standards and Procedures for Recognition at the Committee’s March 2023 meeting. CHEA and the Committee noted 15 technical edits for the purpose of clarification in the following sections:

CHEA invites comments on the technical edits for the purpose of clarification from representatives of CHEA member institutions, accrediting organizations, the accreditation community and the public. All comments must be specific to the CHEA Standards and Procedures for Recognition and submitted in writing using the form provided. All comments must be received by 5:00 pm EDT on May 15, 2023. CHEA encourages all commenters to read carefully the technical edits and welcomes comments. Comments will be reviewed by the Committee on Recognition.
