A Word from CAPPS Executive Director, Robert Johnson

Dear CAPPS Members,

On behalf of the CAPPS Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank you for your support this year. Your contributions, both business and personal, have enabled CAPPS to continue to represent our Sector in California since 1972. We continue to face ingrained bias and opposition both Nationally and at the State level. Our Board of Directors and Staff look forward to working with those policy makers who see the good in what you do.

Your member dues allow us to keep a strong and continuing presence in Sacramento. No one will defend us unless we defend ourselves first. In 2023 we will continue the battle with the Biden Administration and his allies in California, but with a Republican House and some favorable rulings from the Supreme Court that limits unchecked promulgation of regulations not based in law, we have some defenses available.

Our sector is a vital part of the job engine that drives our State. We fill critical jobs in all kinds of occupations. With your support we are able to promote the good work that all our members, both large and small, are doing for their students, community, and the State as a whole.

Your dues are the largest part of our funding. With your support we will continue to grow our Legislative relationships, provide schools and individuals with professional development, the latest in information and advice on the issues that concern you. We are proud to highlight Community Service programs and provide Scholarship opportunities for your students as part of our services. Whether it be Webinars, Conferences or Alerts we cover all the regulatory, legislative, and political issues that affect our Sector.

Please remember to include your membership with CAPPS in your 2023 and 2024 budgets!

We continue to build a state-of-the-art Association designed with you in mind. United we can make a large impact on California. Change is constant. We are dedicated to staying on top of those issues that affect you the most. Help CAPPS help you! Stay informed and stay active in the association.

You are invited to renew your membership by clicking on one of the boxes below.

We look forward to your continued presence as the heart of CAPPS. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Robert Johnson
