REMINDER: Join the NACIQI Meeting for MSCHE’s Appearance on Feb. 28

Middle States Commission on Higher Education

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is scheduled to appear before the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) and encourages member institutions, students, and the public to join the meeting to engage in the process. This appearance is part of the United States Department of Education’s Accreditor Federal Recognition Process.

MSCHE is tentatively scheduled to appear in the afternoon of February 28, 2023; however, while the order of the agency reviews will not change, depending upon the pace of the meeting, MSCHE’s review may take place earlier or later than suggested on the agenda. You can join the meeting virtually as well as register to provide public oral comment as described in the Federal Register.

Make a Public Oral Comment
The Commission has encouraged member institutions, students, and the public to better understand the recognition process and consider providing public comments when opportunities to do so become available. The Commission’s appearance before NACIQI is another opportunity to engage in this process as you can register to make public oral comments during our appearance. You can find the instructions to register to provide public oral comments in the Federal Register. The deadline to do so is also indicated there.
