About the Program
The 2022 midterm elections will be the first under President Biden and will determine the balance of power for the next two years. Currently, the House and Senate are both controlled by the Democrats. Historically, however, the incumbent president’s party tends to lose seats in the midterms while the opposition party gains seats. The Republicans hope that those historical trends play in their favor, while the Democrats hope to retain a majority in Congress and capitalize on the widespread backlash to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision.
Join Education Team attorneys Katherine D. Brodie and Kristina Gill for analysis of the midterm elections results, the political landscape for the 118th Congress and the regulatory and legislative outlook for higher education.
Speakers
Katherine Brodie, Partner and Education Team Lead, Duane Morris LLP
Kristina Gill, Special Counsel, Education Team, Duane Morris LLP
